Soap Carving For Technology

We are learning to:
 Develop ideas by developing and revisiting visual ideas, in response to examples we have seen, and ideas that we can think of for ourselves.

Learning Challenge: Create an artwork in any way you prefer (painting, drawing, building, sewing,  soap carving!) of something you think is Kiwiana… it could be something other artists have identified or something that is an original idea of your own

I made this soap carving of a kiwi with a bar of soap and a tooth pick/stick.

Pizza

Technology: WALT follow a brief by justifying the nature of an intended outcome in relation to the need or opportunity. Use the criteria identified to inform the development of an outcome and its evaluation.

For technology we had to make a meal for our family. I made pizza and we had to take four photos. The ingredients, the recipe, making it and the finished product. I didn't have a recipe so I wasn't able to take a photo of a recipe.

Technology Sandwich

The criteria include
1. Healthiness of the ingredients (9/10)
2. Overall cost of manufacture  (3/10)
3. Eye appeal/ presentation (8/10)
4. Ease of handling (10/10)
5. Taste! (10/10

I rate my ultimate sandwich a 10/10 because it tasted nice and the appearance is good. It was quite easy to make as well.
