The BFG stands for the big friendly giant because he's big, friendly and he's a giant. He carries his suit case full of dreams and a trumpet around at night and he gives all of the people of the town dreams. He wears a dark coat with a cape attached to it. The BFG likes eating snozzcumbers and he has plenty of them in his garden.
Kia ora Wairini,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Leisha Ferguson and I am with the Summer Learning Journey. I live in Auckland and I am part of the team that will be commenting on your blog posts over the summer. I am really looking forward to getting to know you and reading your interesting blogs :)
You have written a great character description for the BFG and I love the picture of him you have drawn. I am interested to know whether you have read The BFG by Roald Dahl? If you haven’t, have you read any of the other Roald Dahl books? I read George’s Marvellous Medicine to my Y2 class this year and they absolutely loved it! It is a very funny story.
Keep up your blog posts over this teaser week and get ready to start with Week 1 of the Summer Learning Journey on Monday 16th December. I look forward to seeing what you blog about next!
Leisha :)
